Our CEO Romanna Bint-Abubaker picks this for her abbaya of choice. Sadly I wish i’d seen this before my recent marriage, I would definitely have chosen this. I love the sheer elegance it oozes and when you’re getting married people do end up seeing a lot of your back so it works really well!

Many people asked me why I chose to wear an Abbaya over the wedding dress and aside from the fact that actually abbayas have taken on such a beautiful form with so much detail I genuinely felt that it was as elegant as wearing my wedding dress – which I naturally kept more simple as a result.

How about I post an image of my look – but be warned I hope there’s more than one of this abbaya as we’re having a second wedding party sometime soon and i definitely know what i’m choosing!
