Known for her urban style, bold choice of geometric cuts, and unique accessories Princess Deena Abdulaziz is Haute Arabia’s Style Icon No. 3. Steadily emerging into the Fashion World as a Global Style Icon, Princess Deena made fashion headlines at the 2013 New York Fashion Week with an amazing 30 piece wardrobe ensemble. Sitting front row at shows for some of the most notable names in the fashion world like Chanel, Princess Deena entertained with elites like Mary Alice Stephenson and Aristocrat Ines de la Fressange. However, the Princess was also working as the buyer for her Posh Boutique D’NA as she personally selects all inventory for her members only clientele.
Established in the heart of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 2006, D’NA has emerged as an independent fashion voice in the Middle East and on the international scene. More than a fashion boutique, the space is an artfully curated magazine come to life; reflecting its founders’ unique take on all things fashion, culture and design. Designers represented in the boutique include Alexander Wang, Miu Miu, Marni and Haider Ackermann. D’NA also serves as an art gallery and showing room for cutting edge art in film and design.
Princess Deena’s groundbreaking style recently landed her a mini- feature on Vogue.com entitled “Travel In Style” where the princess dishes secrets on her style, describing her fashion sense as “organic” and adorning all seasons with a theme and story to serve as the foundation for her style of dress. Featuring designers like Isaac Mizrahi, Peter Pilotto, Elsa Peretti, Manolo Blahnik and Rodarte the Princess enticed readers with a brief introduction into her closet and select pieces for an upcoming travel engagement. Her feature in Vogue is only an introduction to this style icon of Arabia and we’re sure to see much more of her embarking style on display across the global fashion scene.
