Are You Sure That Quick Makeup Fix Isn’t Causing Non-reversible Damage to Your Skin?

By Almas,

How many of us have time for a full face of make-up everyday? A quick fix usualy consists of a little chapstick on the lips, eye kohl or pencil and leaving out of the house. It’s this last step that can actually make you look more tired and emphasise the dark circles and any discolouration around the eyes. It also makes your eyes appear smaller.

So here’s a quick tip! If you want to achieve the best results, which work for most eye shapes, use kohl or any type of pencil/liquid liner on the upper lid close to the lashes and skip the lower lid. Or if you feel the look is not finished, softly with a very light hand, brush some strokes between the lower lashes excluding harsh lines. Instead, you can opt for a light or skin toned eye pencil for the lower waterline to brighten and open up your eyes.

Also, be very gentle with the under eye area. Stretching it too much during makeup application can cause non-reversible damage to your skin!

That’s all for this week,
